"I've been wowed by every painting I've seen of Mark Keffer's, and this year I was moved to create music that captured his brilliance.

Keffer's paintings have a digital/baroque style, and I knew there was a special kind of music there.

So I set off to respond to 13 paintings of his with a special genre. It approaches some other music I've heard before (like Wendy Carlos) but I doubled down on the complexity.
